Supper Club

My hugely popular ‘Supper Club’ is now available for collection or delivery every Friday evening. Choose either a vibrant 3-course Mediterranean vegetarian supper for £30 per person or a 2-course version priced at £25 per person. The menu changes every two weeks, each one inspired by the authentic recipes picked up from years of travelling through the Mediterranean from Provence, Greece and Italy to Turkey, Israel and Lebanon.

That was a fabulous supper, full of interest and Middle Eastern flavours. The whipped feta and zaalouk was a fab combo, loved the pie and its smoky tomato. I loved it all, just my kind of food. Thank you so much. Wonderfully well organised tooJill Turton, Squidbeak

Menu for 14th and 21st August 

This menu is inspired by the stunning whitewashed town of Tarifa which forms part of the glittering municipality of Cádiz where the Atlantic and the Mediterranean meet – known as Costa de la Luz, the coast of light. Here, the winds can be phenomenally strong so, by day people head to the stunning windswept beach to surf – by board or by kite – and, as dusk falls, refreshed and giddy with an endearing sense of their bronzed and windswept beauty, they head to the shelter of the beautiful curved streets to gather outside cool cafés and contemporary hotels to eat, drink and watch the world go by. The sounds of laughter and music – a mix of Flamenco and North African – float through the languid air and, after an hour or two, one is totally immersed within a culture that is uniquely local. That of the Moors, the Arab-Andalusians and Arabs all of which lend an exotic touch to this high summer menu.

To start
An Andalucían spicy lemon-scented white bean dip served with with slow roasted plum tomatoes with pimentón dulce ahumado (smoked mild paprika) and garlicky toasted sourdough

To follow
My creamy Tarifa leek and artichoke tart, tarta de puerros y alcachofas with nutty Manchego cheese and tarragon

Sumptuous Spanish roast potatoes with garlic and smoky paprika drizzled with an Andalusian lemon-infused mayonnaise

A vibrant salad from Andalucía, slow roasted mixed peppers, locally-grown tomatoes and plump Navarrico butter beans with a preserved lemon, garlic and parsley dressing

To finish
A slice of Moroccan orange, almond and fig cake served with orange blossom-infused crème fraîche and a late summer berry compôte
