Nourish York

York updates

As of Thursday 4th June, here’s a summary of what’s happening on the independent food scene right now including lots of pre-ordered doorstep deliveries and collections. There’s something new happening every day so bookmark this page and check in regularly.

Malton updates

To make it easier for the local community to get their favourite local produce delivered to their door, an online directory – Malton Delivers – has details of all businesses in the area that are now offering delivery services and alternative shopping arrangements. Businesses in the directory include bakeries, butchers, drinks producers, greengrocers and restaurants that are making pre-cooked meals and more. In the meantime, my lovely friend Gilly at Malton Cookery School – where I should have been popping up this month – is creating delicious meals for the elderly, vulnerable and housebound as well as for frontline NHS workers.
